Wanted to let everyone know that Harp lager will be the official draft beer of Rocktoberfest 2K4. We will have 2 kegs so come & drink up. Also some friendly reminders that you will need ID to show proof of age, absolutely no outside alcohol allowed, and please be responsible by carpooling & having a designated driver.

We've got a great list of song options for the Ladies Karaoke Contest. Details about the contest along with some of the female vocalist song options are posted at: http://www.rrgcc.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=108 We are also in need of three male volunteer judges and a scorekeeper / announcer.

If you have ever thought about becoming a first ascentionist or ever wondered how those bolts get in the rock, you need to attend the Rocktoberfest 2K4 Bolting Clinic! Tim, Jared, & crew are going to show everyone how it is done while putting up a couple of new lines at the Murray-Pendergrass Preserve. Rick Weber of Muir Valley has put together a nice "How To" Bolting Manual for people attending the clinic. There will also be some refreshments and other goodies available at the clinic.

Big thanks to all the cool people that showed up for the party Saturday night. It was the best rocktoberfest I have been to so far.
Really big thanks to Captain Static for planning and running the show, and to all the other people who volunteered through out the day and to 512OW for putting on a great set.
Guess we might have to get three kegs next year...

Wes is right, it was the best Rocktoberfest I have been to, too, so far...
Only a handful of hardcore climbers stayed late to watch the Men's wet t-shirt contest. Very interesting, to say the least! A lot of you people missed out on that one!
