lycra is best savored when it comes in bright colors and when displayed with big hair. That would be proud retro style.

I used to wear them and I will probably wear them again when the weather gets colder. With lightweight polypro under them, they are fairly warm, super lightweight, and stretchy. Those climbers wore lycra for a damn good reason. They are good climbing clothes. Used to get some wicked stares eating dinner at the Cantuckee Diner in Winchester on the way home, though.

Of course, they aren't fashionable now, are they? Prana is so cool.

personally I go for the all blue with the giant lightning bolt down the side, aint nothing that can stop you when you are wearing a pair of those :mrgreen:

Is there anywhere that still sells colored/patterned lycra? When I go into sporting goods stores, all I see is some overpriced Under Armor stuff. No poka-dots; no stripes; not even any neon pink/yellow/green; no fun!
