Happy Birthday, Steve!! I'm sorry climbing didn't work out for you today. If it's any consolation, I didn't get to go yesterday as planned. Of course I had a very special houseguest and didn't really care...
Piece of advice for anyone looking to climb during the week: there is almost always someone at Miguel's you can hook up with. Arrive by 8:30 or 9 am and you can usually partner up with one of the elves living there.
Steve, if you want to take a day next week, I'm thinking of going on Thursday. Let me know. I'll let you pick the crag as a belated birthday present!

Thats what scares me Sandy.Sandy wrote: there is almost always someone at Miguel's you can hook up with.
I took the lame wade out and worked today. The 40 something hours of OT from last weeks hurricane coverage just won out...guess I'm greedy. Thanks for all the b-day props, as always you guys and gals around here rock. I have a feeling that if we skipped the wedding tomorrow Jill wouldn't complain a bit either. Maybe we can find some chunk of rock to climb on the way home Sunday. Ya'll have fun in Boone!
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
