You're kidding right?
Kidding about what? The name or the route?

Guess you could break up some of the longer sport routes at Long Wall. Are the Pies Fresh has rap anchors mid point, and Trinket Man is interupted by a spacious ledge.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

I did CH4 and Rising as one pitch with no rope drag problems. I think it's more of an extension than another pitch.

I don't think that 20 foot 5.8 classifies as a pitch. More of a boulder problem. The whole route can't be much more than 60 feet. A bit contrived if you ask me.

The 5.8 is a really, really good 5.8 so it's probably cool that the anchors are there for beginners. I think the extension was probably added afterwards. It's bad ass as well.

Got on 'heard it on NPR' this weekend at Muir valley, and did it as two pitches. It was a great route!!! If anyone is at Joe Ponder they should definately get on it.
I guess you could do it as one pitch, but you would have a ton of rope drag.
