Gotcha! Well the first few times that Ben made it out of the gym and onto real rock he started out sending 12's! It must be nice! BUt he climbs indoors practically everyday. So time is the secret!

I don't think it can be attributed to one certain trait. I'd say it's a combination of:
Natural talent/strength
Motivation
Time spent climbing (indoors or out)

True enough! I have certainly seen Ben progress as a climber as well as many others. So far I personally can't seem to get my shit together 'cause I have too much other stuff going on. Ivwant the simpler days back! Getting older really blows!

So what keeps you motivated Scin?

Man, I just love climbing. If I start getting unmotivated with one type of climbing I just switch to another. I think switching focus keeps things exciting.

Ben is just too cool. Nice kid with sick climbing skilz. I think Gretchen crossed his genes with a spider in a labratory and now we have a mutant. One day he will send 5.15

HAHAHAHAHA I know that all things are possible but look how far my boy Sharma has gone so far....it is only a matter of time before I rule the climbing world with my mutant climbers

Yeah, that Little Ben dude is strong. Sets some good problems/routes too. Speaking of Katie Brown, she seems to have dropped out of the limelight lately. I guess going to college can do that to you? Does anybody know if Katie is still doing any climbing? These young'uns are sure amazing. Some of the trad things Beth Rodden has been doing are impressive. I also saw that some sport climbing kid recently led a bolted 5.13 crack using trad gear on a dare even though he had never led trad before. Now that's pretty damn impressive

shit, Ben is weak non of you weak trad climbers know what you are talking about. And i know for a fact that ben is weak and hasnt dont Take That Katie Brown, because he is way to short and weak. his arm span would have to stretch 2 feet to be able to do the move. Gosh i cant believe you trad climbers think he is strong.

Ben even lost at the comp on saturday in lex. i would think if he was strong he would have beat the real strong men like Jeremy and Brian

LOL Ben is WEAK that is all i have to say
