Slackliners?

Post by captain static »

I heard about but didn't see the slackline demo @ Torrent a while back. Is anyone on this bbs into slacklining? Would anyone be interested in some slacklining action at Rocktoberfest?

Yes, i love slacklining. If i'm able to go to rocktoberfest i'll definately be up for some slacklining action. When is it, by the way? I'd love to see some other people's tricks, i've mostly just taught myself how to do it.

Eric Cox is also setting up a zip-line for Mark.
I am pretty sure it's Oct. 9-10th ender.

We should get a few set up, maybe 3 in a triangle. That'd be sweet, then we could jump from one line to another.

each one should be a little higher then the other so you have to step up onto the next one. The trick would be avoiding grabbing the tree to help you onto the next line

I learned how to slack line while staying in Camp 4 a few years ago, but I'm not very good at it.

You're right on Oct. 9 & 10 Jeff. Bart Bledsoe was the person who did the demo last time.

I'd like to give it a shot. I'll probably spend most of the time on falling on my ass!
