i just did the same thing about a week ago... how is that treating you now? i went to the doctor and she told me i sprained a muscle and to do a few exercizes and not climb or swim for at least two weeks. I can't tell you how much it killed me to see all my friends go climbing on labor day at Boulder Canyon. Not to mention i this means i'm missing my first triathlon of the season due to no swimming. i would love to know about how long it's taken you to get back if you have, and how it feels!

JVBoone,

Sorry to hear about what you missed out on.

I tweeked it on a Thursday afternoon. I didn't climb at all that weekend and then on the following Tuesday, just climbed real easy. Each move was real deliberate and just worked on technique, foot placement, body position, etc. I didn't do the normal weight and exercise training that I normally do. I do lots of pull-ups and I have stayed completely away from those. I hurt it on August 26th and I did go climbing at the Red this past Saturday. I didn't limit myselft to what I got on and didn't feel it. Again, I warmed up real well before hand.

On another note, I went climbing in Boulder Canyon in July. Went up to Happy Hour Crag and got on some routes there. We also headed down to Clear Creek Canyon. Great climbing!!

Good luck with your shoulder.
