Just for everyone's future reference the Western Pancake House food is horrible! It is all salty and bland. Ugh.
You could probably do a better job on your own campstove.
The Cathedral Cafe was tasty-great...they even got Wes to eat "flax seed" and Ryan didn't look out of place ordering his cup of tea. It is funny how Ryan looks so innocuous and then he tells you that he was sued for 1 billion dollars and interrogated at gun point. Amazing really that anyone could steal that much pizza at Miguels. Where did it all go to and why did the evidence disappear? Mafia connections? Or don't mess with the locals?

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

When I climbed it the crux fingerlock at the beginning of the route was wet. I dried it out before Karla climbed it. I thought the climb was actually more challenging than it looked. She is a trad sandbagger.

The great thing I found about that route (Mushroom) was how it was a complete learning experience. It made me use finger locks and upward placement of handjams that I hadn't been asked to do before. Also, it wasn't as pumpy as I thought it would be but was still demanding on balance. Granted, I was refusing to use toe cams--my feet just didn't want to play that way.
And the 10c Wes kicked the dickens out of was Rapscallion's Blues at Junkyard in case anyone wanted to know.
