Yeah, Ani's deep like that. :D My interpretation is that if you're living behind a facade, even if nobody else notices, you know what you're doing and are going to have to face it eventually. Kind of like when you cheat on a route and realize that you're only cheating youself. ;)

see that's kind of what i was thinking, but then i thought if you're cheating yourself, which means you know you're cheating or whatever. if you know you're doing it, then you obviously don't care you're doing it. so you really wouldn't care if "you" found out. see what i'm saying? nevertheless, i like the simpler version better.

Ha, good call... unless you're only doing it because you're tired, and later on you find yourself drowning in regret, wishing with all you're worth that you hadn't cheated, wondering how you're going to go on with your life now that you're completely worthless as a climber... but that's purely hypothetical. Go with the simpler version.

I wish I could be an elf.
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Watched it last night. Pretty good, but they really, really changed it from the book. Seemed like they wrote more confict into the movie then what was in the book.

Still, it was pretty cool, and if you haven't read the books you won't be sitting there saying "That isn't how it happened in the book", and "that isn't in the book at all" to yourself.

Yeah, I saw it too and really enjoyed it. I haven't read the books, but my girlfriend has and she was constantly saying "that's not how it happened in the book". Seems like they wove it into the storyline well enough so that it didn't interrupt the flow of the original story though.

Does it really matter that it differs from the book if it is still a good movie?
