Racks

Post by honor401 »

Getting ready to get a rack together. Was wondering if people just use webbing for there rack and how many of what should be on it to do an average climb out at the gorge?

Also how many feet is an average climb out at the gorge?

thanks,
Scott

Here's a good thread for that: http://www.redriverclimbing.com/viewtop ... d+rack+red

I'd say an average climb at the Red is between 60 and 80 feet.

I use a gearsling. Depends on your preference, you can get the ones that has loops on both sides or just the one-sided slings. I prefer the one-sided ones.
