Continuing her tear through the classic 10+/11- routes, Ms. Meadows sent Creepshow Saturday in less then ideal conditions. Nice work for sure.

Well done Stephanie! What's next on your route sending rampage? Also, hat's off to Karla (squeezindlemmon) who is now back to leading 5.11d sport routes since her broken ankle earlier this year. Hopefully this weekend she'll be back to leading multi-pitch trad since we'll be taking a long weekend trip in New Hampshire. I'd imagine that now she'll start placing gear closer than 50 feet apart. It's so scary watching her lead trad sometimes. For real, I'm really proud of her for hanging in there and getting the job done. :D

I hope I still remember how to lead trad. I kinda miss it sometimes. Long trad routes take me to a place that most sport routes could never go. This weekend we put up a mixed route and it felt great to be placing gear and cranking through handjams and footjams again. Time to dust off the old rack and put it to some use.

Yay, Steph! Wish I could have been there to see it... you're just kickin' ass all summer, I need to start climbing with you.... hmmmm, but how do we do this? I need to get you down to Muir but you also need to get me out of Muir at some point.... We need some kind of "I'll show you mine, if you show me yours" kind of deal, but with climbing, you know?
