SCIN is the best

Post by Spragwa »

Just wanted to give SCIN mad props for taking so much crap from all of us. Each of us irritate he and Artsay at different times with our crap. Thanks for keeping up the site in spite of us Ray. You're the bombdigity and we all support you. 8)

Yep, I second all of that. Plus, I've met a whole bunch of really cool people through this site-- Ray and Artsay being up there with those who are at the top of the list. :D You both rock my world.

I just want to say THANKS again to Ray (and Artsay).... it was nice to finally put a face to a name!

This site rocks (and we all know it) but the best thing about it is when you are in a crag talking to all these new people you meet and all of a sudden you realize you've talked to them before in a pm or raged against them in a thread.... J-Rock and I met so many people at Muir this weekend and it's funny how it's almost mandatory at the Red to introduce yourself as "Hi, I'm realname, aka redriverclimbingname."

It's an instant connection, like you've known each other in a different life or something....

Although I've only briefly met Artsay and Ray, I must admit you two are BAMF climbers and people.

Also, I'd like to thank you for your efforts to break down cultural stereotypes through this site. How many times has anyone heard..."Oh, so you are *enter screenname* from RRC, I thought you were a *insert opposite gender here*!"?

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Hey Carla! It was great meeting you too! It's always nice to put a face to a name and with a name like yours I just wanted to squeeze ya!

As for you Ms. Virginia, I think I will always refer to you as "that girl whose cup flew off the top of a car somewhere in Tennessee". It was great meeting you (two times?) too and it would be great to see you again. Do I dare say we should have yet another redriverclimbing.com party?

I second the Hells yeah!
I volunteer my expertise as a large-order cook. (Food included.) The only thing I can't offer is a place to have the party... :|

Oh, and it can't be over Labor Day weekend, ob-vi-ous-ly. Unless of course, you don't want me there.. in that case LD wkend would be the PERFECT time to have it. :P

Heyszzzz-yeah!!!

As for the cup, the third generation of its manifestation has managed to survive quite well in the owner's hands and is only missing the lid.
