PSYCHED

Post by Wes »

Man, I am excited to be PURE CLIMBING again this weekend. I haven't been psyched about my own climbing in a long time, and it feels good to have that happy thought, that pretty soon I will be doing what I like best.

I have had a super cool time and have been getting a great vicarous buzz over the last few months just hanging out, doing the photography thing, and watching people send. But, now I actually feel like pulling the fuck down! Which I haven't really felt like since I hurt my finger in Hueco last year. Like all the motavation that drained out through the torn ring pully is finally back.

That's awesome, Wes! I wish I could be there to see ya! I know how it feels to lose motivation and it's a wonderful feeling when it all comes rushing back. Have a BLAST!! :D

You just need to watch the blue ice part of dosage. Then you will understand that BOULDERING is PURE CLIMBING. That BOULDERING is all about POWER. That a MAGNIUM is better then some crappy rope anyday. The rope is holding you all back. Free yourselves while you can!!

Wait, I'm confused. I thought that you admitted to being a "new age" climber (i.e. using a crash pad). Does that affect your "pure climbing" status? Does chalk factor in as well?

Is there a point system?
I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Wes, So how are you going to do all those projects that go above 20 feet? I mean, do I have to report to everyone how a rope helped you up a certain climb this weekend?

That rope and all that shiny gear was what was holding me back. FREE YOURSELVES. ROPES are PURE EVIL. Don't be blinded by the bling-bling of a shiny rack. PURE CLIMBING can save your soul. Come with me to mecca, feel the nice-Gniess in your very own hands, and you will be SAVED from the crumblies.

Yas, I tried so hard to save you last fall. I am deeply saddend by your current bling-bling based focus on climbing, but there is still HOPE for you yet. Come to Boone with me, witness the incredible POWER of the new MAGNIUM. Your life will never be the same.

What the hell is a MAGNIUM? Is that like a MAGNUM? ...And I am assuming that it's a crashpad? Oh well, here we go again. :D
