I don't like the Long Walk. Get up the approach, which really isn't too bad, then you have to walk 14.37 miles to do any routes up there aside from Autumn and Rock Wars. It's the distance from route to route, added to the approach that end up being a long walk.

That said, I'm just too pussy to do any of the routes up there so that's my excuse.

If you want a lot harder try the hike up to the base of halfdome with a pig on your back zig zagging across the death slabs.

T-Wall has a nice warm-up hike. Tahquitz has a really good one! Half Dome is even better!

You know, after climbing out west, I promised myself I would never whine about the approches in the red. Guess I didn't follow though on that very well. Castleton Tower is my favorite approch for sure. Next up would be guides wall in the tetons, south six shooter comes in third.

That's okay Wes, like you said, you are a new-age climber.
Pretty soon you'll probably be running the campaign with ynot to get chair lifts--although, I can't see those being a free ride.

Why don't you present the idea to RRGCC? Em, yeah, 'bout that, thanks.
I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Wall Street on Potash Road outside of Moab is a hideously heinously hardly hard approach.
