You shouldn't underestimate a team just because they are from this tiny island.

Sure. Even Jamaica fielded a bobsled team. Didn't anyone see Cool Runnings?

Oh, but wait, the USA players are supposed to be the best in the world. There aren't even any NBA players on the Puerto Rican team, are there?

Pathetic. Oh, how I long for the days when the USA first fielded NBA players and games were won by 30-50 pt margins (sigh); that Olympic games was like a damn Harlem Globe Trotters game.

I remember watching the Jamaicans run in the olympics. The movie wasn't too good. The song was much better.

In retrospect, though, this is not the best team the USA has fielded. In fact, this isn't even the best team the USA COULD have fielded. I understand that several star players passed on the invitation and these guys, NBA caliber as they are, are not the "creme de la creme". Ah well, I only really care about the swimming anyway, with track and field coming in second.

Arroyo plays in the NBA, international rules favor teamwork, 3 point shooting, and fundamental basketball, 3 things the individual oriented NBA doesn't put on highlight films, Coach Brown should be the first to realize this since good defense and teamwork is how Detroit spanked the suck ass Los Angeles Lakers

I've got to admit I thought is was preety cool when both the mens and womens US hockey teams lost to Canadian teams, in the same year, a couple years ago. I can only imagine how stoked the Puerto Ricans must be about this basketball game!

yeah, arroyo is the starting pg for the utah jazz. The u.s. team needs a sharpshooter like michael redd (who just happens to be from west high school!!) to break apart the zone
