Anybody know if this bolted route has a name and a grade?
It's directly beneath Whiteout, right?

I've heard it called "nerds" for the small knobby handholds that resemble nerds candy.

Depends if the tree is in.......if not its more like probably 5.9 at the bottom.......i'd say its as hard a move as Creature Feature

My understanding is that the Humes just called it Whiteout Direct. Big Country used to refer to it as Nerds so that is what the kywilderness folks started calling it. Rating somewhere in the 5.7ish range.
Now can I have a credit in you on-line guide for my contribution? Maybe co-author?
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
