Alpine Cams

Post by overhung »

Let's say you're rebuilding your rack and want to focus strongly on climbing alpine rock routes. What would your choice of cams be? My first inclination is BD, but weight is an issue. Any other cams out there garner consideration?
I've had just about enough of this shit.

I do a lot of alpine and find the best cams to be BDs because they overlap sizes so you can carry fewer cams overall. A few other cams are lighter per size, like Wild Countrys but the range per cam is not as great. Otherwise just take nuts and learn to love hexes. They are cheap if you have to leave them behind as an anchor and much lighter than cams anyway.
