Colorado Update

Post by GWG »

We arrived Saturday mid-day and settled in where we are staying. Went up to the Flatirons that afternoon and were just hiking around getting our bearings. Ran into a guy from the area and started talking to him about places to climb. He said, let me take you to Clear Creek Canyon to get on some easy stuff to start out with.

We drove down to Golden and started up Clear Creek Canyon, stopped at the 2nd tunnel and climbed 3 routes. Stone Cold Moderate, 5th of July, and Ace in the Hole.

Haven't been here more than 8 hours and my son and I have already hiked most of the way up the 1st Flatiron, and got 3 routes in.

What's great about all this is that we still have 13 days to play. 8)

Hope everyone has a spectacular day today. We are heading back up to the Flatirons today. :D

Have a great remainder, and color me green! :D
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

I will be out of town until the 20th, but if you will still be around and want to get some routes in drop me a line.
