New Parking Areas in the Preserve?

I heard that Charmane built two sweet parking areas for climbers to use but that the RRGCC won't accept these as designated parking areas because of some reason about not wanting to be told where to park.

Does anyone know anything about this? It just sounds too off the wall ridiculous.

Anyone know if we can park in these areas "legally"? I hear there's one at the base of the road that leads to the Drive-By and another at the Arena.

Disclaimer: I have not seen these parking areas and my information is by word-of-mouth only.

Artsay, I have heard the same thing and I have seen the parking area that Charmane built....very nice!

Its probably a good idea if the RRGCC doesnt accept it. Wow, lets just create some more controversey and hopefully they will not let any of us park there. The RRGCC is so hopeless..

no controversy here...never on this board

. Just people expressing an observation. I observed a HUGE parking area at the bottom of the hill headed up to drive-by/oil crack but I don't think the parking area is RRGCC approved.
