The Red is truly one of the most beautiful places I have been to. Particularly on those rainy days we love to hate - the trails deserted, fog rising from the forest, the leaves scrubbed clean and squelching underfoot ....
It was great fun learning to climb at the Red. Meeting some of you at the crags or at Miguel's was also very enriching.
I finished with grad school at Purdue a few months ago and have been living in the Silicon Valley since; with trips to Yosemite, Sequoia, the crags and bike trails on the Skyline Ridge occupying some of the weekends.
I have never been good at good-byes, particularly extended ones. So I'll cut this shot by asking my friends/climbing partners/acquaintences who read this board to keep in touch and let me know if you are heading this way.
Cheers,
Ritwik

Ritwik, I'm glad you didn't just drop out of site without a word. You'll be missed around the Red! I hope you enjoy your new life and that you let us know when you'll be back for a visit.
Ritwik-- I've never met you, but I've heard about you through Jesse. I'll be in Yosemite the first week of August if you're interested in showing me around-- I've been there once before, but have never climbed there.

So glad our paths crossed, Ritwik! I will never forget your patience and great beta (nor the boost up!) Climb on, and remember the "pain" one must endure! You will always have a special place in my heart! dipsi
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.
