Khoomer Ridge used to be a good place for van camping. They have showers etc.

Koomer Ridge is nice, but like Whittleton, it is an improved site with people milling around, especially on the weekend. That might be what they want.

Of course if they went out Tunnel Ridge, Chimney Top, or FS 9, then it is a beer zone....again, maybe what they want.

Rock Bridge road is a good choice for quite weekend camping, especially about 100 yards up road from the picnic area. Since there are no cliffs for drunk people to fall off, it has very few party campers.

If they went to Fagan and down FS 165, then could camp on a fairly remote FS road...it is by a cemetery though...

FS 9 was closed on Sunday. Judging from the washout that closed it, it will not be open for quite some time.

Thanks. I'd heard from someone else that it was open already and was surprised because I thought it would be much longer. maybe they were confused :?

Perhaps Lago Linda is quite full of quince?

The frog pond and goat pasture with the hills and the barn in the background at Miguel's is nice to me, but I guess that the dips**ts drinking until 4am and the f**kwits who start playing basketball at 6am cancel out the pastoral-ness.
