if that many peepos are gonna be at bishop, then i'm gonna try to drag 'em to come with me to the _atari_ i'd need a few good spotters for its 'nasty' landing.

merrick, where has that migz ho been?

dude, if you get on atari, i will. that landing is super scary though. but the line is so sweet. I have this feeling it both gets harder and scarier the higher you get. good thing i have health insurance.

migz has a messed up finger. i think he has sort of been hiding the fact from everyone including himself. he says he has hardly climbed in 3 weeks despite being at the gym all the time. i think his plan is to recover as much as possible and then pull hard at bishop no matter what.

i think the 13th of Dec. I will show up when i finish the drive. I don't know if i can do it alpine style, in a single push. i might have to bivy once or twice.

if anyone wants a ride out to Bishop next week let me know. all i ask is to split the gas and driving.

Man, I'm such a chuffer. I registered, and then tried to log in and kept getting punted, then I checked the confirmation e-mail and saw that I had registered as 'timser' instead of 'timster'.

Anyway - I'm here!

HP40 was such a bag of fun. I gotta go back there this spring and take another shot at sending Millipede and Popeye.

I'm glad you guys liked the pictures. I liked the pic of Wes doing the dyno on Genesis. That lip is quite a reach.

I tried Genesis the day before without changing in my climbing shoes. I figured that I'd never be able to dyno off the inset, so I just was gonna feel it out, then I dyno for the lip and somehow, someway stick the lip, and then I'm thinking that I'm going to look like such a putz if I quit, so I try to top out, but of course I'm wishing I had my climbing shoes on. So I'm grunting and scrabbling for hours at end trying to flop over the top. On a scale of 1 to 10, that was a definite 0.5 in for top-out style. But a send is a send.

I sure enjoyed meeting Wes and Mia there. Gabe climbed his ass off like always, and where was Migz?

You guys all have fun at bishop. I wish I could go!
