Well, Dan, when cornered by a decision, do what I always do: Pros and Cons.

Climb Time Indy
Pros: better bouldering, lesser crowds
Cons: location (proximity), routes don't get changed as often, walls are shorter, holds are not cleaned, inadequate interaction with employees, atmosphere, top ropes and belay stations are not regularly cheked for equalization and safety (as is the case when we used to climb there), climbers don't get to practice tying their knots

Climb Time Towers
Pros: location (proximity), better route climbing (sport and trad - they have crack climbs), vast variety of climb types, treadwall, better lead wall, employees interact with climbers, holds are always clean, cool customized holds, very friendly (although sometimes big) crowd, walls are taller, rappel stations, atmosphere, future expansion, top ropes are regularly checked for equalization and safety, climbers get good practice tying their knots
Cons: big kiddie crowd, possible wait in line on popular routes, not-as-boudering-specific-as-CTIndy

Of course, you can also check out both gyms and see for yourself! Happy Climbing!

So is anyone going to be at either one of the gyms either tonight (Thurs.) or Friday night or anytime over the weekend?? I'm going up to Indy to visit my aunt and uncle for the weekend and I'll most likely go to one of the gyms for a little while. I usually go to Climb Time, but I'd really like to go see what the towers are like.

I'll be at Towers tonight, but not until like 6:30 because I have to pick up my tux for my sister's wedding this weekend first.

J-Rock and I will be there tonight.... perfect timing for you too if you want to join us at Towers, we usually go to 106th Pub and Grill for dinner and drinks afterwards with a group.

J-Rock's usually there around 4:30 (maybe) but I'll be a little late...

Awesome. Still not sure if I'll make it up there tonight. I still have to get my oil changed and tires rotated before I leave KY. Hopefully I can make it, if so I'll see you guys there. :)

inadequate interaction with employees
I interact often with everyone who works there, but that's just me. You should also list that you're partial to the gym because you and your bf work there so of course you're biased.

Also, the policy on route setting has changed and they are frequently resetting.

Looks like this Dan guy was looking mostly for bouldering anyway. :D

actually, i'm more of a route climber when i go outdoors. when i climb in the gyms, it seems like i boulder a lot, but I think its mostly due to the fact that most gyms don't change their routes enough. i don't really care for climbing the same routes over, and over, and over, and over.

oh how nice it would be to live close enough to some after-work outdoor climbing

By inadequate, I meant the help that they extend to the customers (not necessarily the regular climbers, I interact with the staff when I'm there too! :D ) as far as teaching them the proper techniques in belaying and all that and keeping an eye on them. And yes, I am partial to the gym not bec we work there (bec we don't, we just volunteer our time) but bec I've personally liked Towers better than Indy even back when J-Rock used to work at CTIndy.

I'm glad to know that the route setting policy at CTIndy has changed and they are frequently resetting, that way the Indy Flash Team will probably start climbing there again twice a month so we can disperse this big crowd at Towers. That way we can see you at Towers more often, right? We miss climbing with you!
