Actually, you can probably get to those crags (except dip) without to much extra work via 77. I am pretty sure there is a road that runs on top of Indian creek, and you can see the Job Core site from Muscle beach. Might have to break out a topo though. As a bonus, I doubt anyone else will be out there!

I think I'll probably be at RQ tonight, since it's supposed to be wet outside like last night. Otherwise I would've totally been up for it. I'd say I'd do it next week, but by then, I'll be at the Reeeeeeeeedddddddddddd!!! :D

Get in touch with Coach-- he's always got a rope. He'll even solo some sketchy dihedral to get it up there for ya.

The tall wall at Eden park is great for grip strength training on toprope. You never get a great rest. Travese the tall wall for a tough workout. The shorter wall if you traverse low is great for slab training and much easier. It will fry your calves down low then becomes more vertical up high. The holds are better up high if you traverse the low wall. In addition, the pump house is made of sandstone and has a 5.11 travers on the back side. It's tough crimps.

Yeah, the tall wall traverse is great for a pumpout-- the feet are small and slick, so you have to hold on extra tight sometimes. That pumphouse traverse is way out of my reach right now... those holds are microscopic! That pillar next to the arch on the other side of the tall wall has some cool TR routes on it, and the one line I did on TR on the traverse side of it was really cool-- lots of high stepping and rocking your weight over, with a nice tetanus hold up top (spuzo knows what I'm talking about). Cool place, that Eden Park.

Does anyone know if the road is re-opened yet?

Don't know for sure, but knowing how fast government works, it'll probably be awhile.
Maybe try emailing the Stanton Ranger District?

I think my Humvy'll handle that road without a problem, so anyone who wants to head back there this weekend, send me a PM. I'll pencil you in.

Just remember, someone got a ticket for $100 for going back there last weekend.

Plus, there aren't really very many safely bolted trad-lines out there. I definitely recomend that people stick to the safer, bolted routes.
