New Areas in Online Guide - Shady Grove and The Playground

Post by SCIN »

In agreement with the RRGCC, I held off on adding Shady Grove and The Playground to the online guide until after Derbyfest. So the walls are now listed in the Southern Region of the guide now.

So...spray away.

Also, comments, ratings, and quality suggestions on the routes are *greatly* appreciated from those who have climbed them since I have not been there yet to climb them myself and they are fairly new. The details were taken from posts by Wes and Johnny so I really don't have good route descriptions.

Thanks!

cool thanks.

i have a complaint/suggestion. since the motherlode, unlode, etc. aren't on the murray property, but are only about 30 seconds away, why don't you just keep all the stuff listed under the southern region? here's a conversation i heard this weekend:

p1 "where are you going?", p2 "somewhere in teh southern region. what about you?", p1 "anywhere but the southern region. probably go to the pendergrass murray recreational preserve". p2, "that's too bad. i was hoping we could carpool". p1, "i would but the two are totally separate regions in the red. it would be really gay to ride in the same vehicle"

change it back to the southern region to save our planet and cut down on fuel usage. save the world ray. save the world.
Yo HO!! Just got me a code red and some funyons big dawg!!! SHIT YEAH! - Ray, excited about his breakfast

Good point. Why confuse things? I'll change it back since that is the way I've known it for years also. Fight the power.

Good call. Ho, too bad that you're a gaywad. I'd totally do you if you weren't such a gigantic flaming jackass.

Where are these? I read the directions, and I'm fuzzy on where these crags are relative to the other crags in the area. Are these 'behind' (north-west from) the Motherlode?

It was once called: The Murray Property.
Now it is called The Preserve (for short).
It's located in the Southern Region (being that you travel South on 11 to get there).
If you want a step by step description on getting there, check out the site dedicated to the Preserve: www.thered.org and simply look for MAP on the home page. Hope this helps you out bit.
! Enough with all that detestation ALREADY !
Smile & be thankful for what you have.
