i think that is weak. i think that as long as it is a link and people are warned what it is, that it should be ok. people should be able to choose what they share with each other and what they see.

so lets play supreme court and try to define porn. is the copulating barbies animation porn? is the britney spears breast size comparison flash piece porn? what about sports illustrated swimsuit pictures.

oh and most importantly, are you telling me I can't post the pictures of me climbing naked????

Merrick surely you are smart enough to gauge that line and not cross it. Porn is obvious when you see it. If you are in doubt, don't post it. If you want porn go to another freaking BBS.

links to porn have been posted on this and the last boad a few times in the past and no one even cared. of course they were few and far between and obviously jokes but still...

i bet you have links to porn in your hotmail account right now. just delete them and move on.

Okay Merrick allow me to spell it out to you. Porn posted here, defined as sex acts either solo, with inanimate objects, animals or other people, will get you banned. Clear enough?

Links to them from the flame board with an explicit warning are perhaps a gray area. The link which was posted earlier (NOT IN THE SUCK FORUM!) was tasteless and mean and could have gotten someone in a heck of a lot of trouble at work. I still say if you all want porn what the fuck are you doing on a climbing site, but hey, that's your call.

i want people to be able to say what they want and share what they want. i am an advocate of free speech in the suck forum.

moderate the others all you want.

i believe that with the exception of that lil nel girl that hung out here a few years ago we are all adults and should be allowed to make our own choices.

i also believe that many of SCIN and horatio' written posts are way way more disturbing that a picture of a man having sex with a woman, or a man having sex with a man. i do not think that they should be banned or censored. I enjoy reading what comes out of their twisted minds.

so is porn only pictures? i mean a link is not a picture and you can choose not to click a link, but you don't have that choice with a post. You will start reading a messed up post before you realize what it is.

I don't think you need to protect us from ourselves.
