Vedauwoo - Lander

Post by Wes »

Hey, I am making my pilgramage to Vedauwoo and Lander again this year. Leaving KY around June 25, back July 11th or 12th. Spend a week and a bit in Vedauwoo crack bouldering then 4-5 days in Lander for the International Climbers fest and pocket pulling at Wild Iris along with some bouldering in Sinks. If anyone wants to come along or meet up out there, just let me know, and we can work out the details.

I'm in-- really this time! Oh, and with gas prices as high as they are and the fact that I have no idea where this place is, definitely carpooling with you.

Cool. That fills up my car, which really isn't that hard to do. Now you just need to buy a bunch of tape and you will be good to go for vedauwoo.

I think MiaRock is going to meet up with us in Lander for a couple days as well. If anyone else is going to be around then, it would be great to meet up.

Ill be down for sure sometime in July, but that dates are unknown for now. It would be rad to climb with some red climbers out in lander.

No one else? I hear through the grapevine that Tomdarch and crew might be meeting us out there, and that SCIN and Artsay might make a cameo appearance?

Hey Mia, if you read this-- I sent you a PM-- I'm going to try to fly out there... can you pick me up? :) Anybody wanna fly with me?

Hey Yasi! I just sent you a PM back! I live about 3 hours from Lander and plan to be there either Wednesday night or Thursday morning thru Saturday night for the festival.

It is beautiful here lately and I got a great bouldering session in on Sunday up in Grand Teton Park! 8)

Yas, you should fly into Denver, and I can pick you up on the way out. But, it would be cool to fly back out of Jackson.

The new guide book for the area, Lander Rock, has some of the bouldering in it. But there is some cool Granite stuff in Sinks that is not in that book. If you are out there for the Fest, I can show you...
