It has been super cool to see Meadows recover so quickly from a broken ankle, two weeks ago she was crankin at Summerville and then the next day we went on a fun 5 mile run on some trails..pretty amazing. I was whining about my leg for like 6 months after I broke it.

I'm just glad that I"m climbing again without much pain no matter where (Red, New, gym). I hope to get back to level I reached and hopefully surpass it.

Must not have been all that good then

Had a few fun, but short days over the last couple weeks - working Minimum Creep and When Doves Cry. Got my ass really handed to me on all things concidered, but what a cool route! It is so funny that people think Military is always super crowded. Just turn right at the top, and you have a bunch of killer routes that never have a line. Same with Roadside, just turn left at the top.

Planning a couple week trip to WY in eary July for some Vedauwoo and Wild Iris action.

I'm trying to tick off all the climbs that have given me fits in the past! Finally had Ham for lunch, and though that was a thrill for me, listening to Yasmeen scream after kicking Sam I Am was thrillier. As Rick Faulkener would say, "She's all that and a bag of chips!"
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Nice thread John!

I went out Saturday with ToddC and RainMan and had a good day just playing at Torrent (my reward for sending Steelworker). ToddC and I did some laps on Seek the Truth and Sport for Brains and RainMan had a great day working on Stool Sample which will go down in short order for him.

Todd and I then hit the Lode Tuesday and started work on Resurrection. That thing felt hard as hell with all the humidity. The jugs had green slimey stuff growing on them and all the holds up through the 4th bolt were greasy as hell. That said, I think it will go pretty quick. Great route though.

Either Stool Sample is grossly sandbagged, or Pocket Pussy is grossly over-graded. After several runs on SS I got on PP and, now with the beta for the bottom section, feel pretty good about sending it right after SS.

I just got back from climbing in Indian Creek, Utah a couple of weeks ago. I finally got my first 12 onsight. :D It was more like a hard 11 since I have small hands but still felt really good. I have been going there for the last 6 years or so for 2-4 weeks at a time in the spring and sometimes in the fall. If anyone is interested in beta (or possibly climbing together there) send me a pm. The new guidebook for the area is out by David Bloom, full color, with more areas. Its worth the money.
