I found 1/2" x 4 3/4" stainless bolts (Rawl 5-piece) SKU# 50095 for $6.00 each @ www.northernmountain.com They also have Fixe 1/2x6" bits for $5.00 each.

I have ordered other items from them before with no problems. The shipping is only $1.99 ground if you join there club.

$6.00 for a Rawl 1/2 x 4 3/4 STAINLESS seems cheap. Mountain Gear sells them for $15.00. I think wholesell is about $7.00.
So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins,

Yeah, 6 buck for one bolt! why the hell would you waste your money like that.

the reason the ones your buying cost soooo much is because your buying them from climbing retailers. BAD IDEA! Find some type of industrial supply shop, like i did. Get them for a good price and dont let those other companies rip your asses off!

I only buy half a dozen or so at a time since I am just putting up anchors on trad.
But please post were you get the deals, I am sure other climbers would love to hear about it. That's a hell of a steal for the real deal!

personally, if you are having a hard time justifying the potential cost of 8 bucks a bolt for safety, then maybe you just shouldn't bolt the route!Image

So Eagleman what do you pay for 1/2 x 4.75 STAINLESS. not carbon steel which can be had for under 2 bucks.

Johnny, im fairly certian give or take 10 cents. but i buy 1/2inch by 3 1/2 in a case not a box. its best not to buy all at once not one here or there. just buy a case thats about 200 bolts
