Guide books

Post by The Pirate »

I am looking for some of the old guide books for the RRG. The ones I am looking for are...Cumberland Climbers Climbing Guide, Red River Gorge Climbers Guide, and Rawk A Climbers Guide To The Red River Gorge. These are all old and out of print,I would like to add these to my collection of old RRG trivia. Anyone with any info on these guides please contact me through this board. Thanks...

Info, I know several people who have all or some of the guides you desire. But they are priceless to them. Maybe you could get them to will them to you! Anyone who has them won't part with them easily!

some loser stole a copy of Frank Beckers original guide from my display at Gladie. I'm still pissed about that. Frank donated it for all RRG climbers to be able to see, but someone decided they wanted it just for them.

So, people will not only not want to part with their old guides, but they'll steal them if they can. boooo. good luck Pirate.

I just wanted to say that the person who stole the guide that JB is talking about is the lowest creature on this planet and needs to be flogged in Miguel's parking lot for all to see.
Good luck Pirate...hope I don't find those guides before you

I also have a copy of the Becker guide, I sourced it at Viking Canoe in Louisville in the 70's.

that is the epitomy of nonattachment Crankmas. If you weren't exhibiting such selflessness I would congratulate "you". :P
