I trashed my back (ruptured discs) almost 12 years ago in a gnarly moutain biking accident. I was crippled for almost 3 years, had surgery, have been recommended for more surgery (which I refused on several occasions), and have now got permanent nerve damage in both legs. I discovered the proper training formula to keep my back strong and actually started back to backpacking about 2 1/2 years ago, and climbing just over a year ago - neither of which I ever thought I would do again. I got lazy with my training recently and am really paying now. I was actually doing yoga when I torqued it. I just have to start off slower when I start back up. Bad backs rot. Keep those abs strong, people!!
Sorry to dissapoint, but there will be no Horatio humping happening that night. My girl is coming, and she gets pretty jealous when I hump guys. Last time I humped SCIN, she tied me up with beef jerky and left me to sleep with Tikka and Maizey. It only took a few hours to get free with the dogs chewing on my extremities, and I got some great tongue burns from those 80 grit tongues those two have.....wow, what tools. Anyhow, the real punishment was that I had to sit there, and I couldn't do anything back to the two little lovelies. Well, Maizey is getting a little heavy for my taste, but that young Tikka.......
Oh, and I could bring some slides if somebody wants to spring for a slide projector rental that automatically advances. The one SCIN stole for me is from like 1922 and doesn't do that.
