Route hogging, pigsteaking, is this some kind of farm theme? Or is it just me?

what does being forgetful have to do with onsiting? in less you think any attempt after your first time on the route can still be considered an onsite...we'll not go there...

wait till you take the whole hog boys...

TRing can get pretty boring.
True but one's person's warm-up is anothers project, so it usually works out in the end.

TRing might be boring but I believe it is necessary to climbing harder...hell I usually always end up TRing a project I am working on at some point.

Besides, have you never heard of an Alzheimer's onsight? It makes every climb an adventure.

Does any one have jobs or they just sit around and argue all day? If its a long haul to the first bolt, I stick clip, if its a easy slab or a easy lead to the first bolt I just have some one spot me. Like on jump for joy, that first bolt can be reached by hand, and on the 5.7 next to c sharp, if you stick clip the first one its so low you will still hit the ground if you slip.

So what is hogging? If I lead a climb that is hard for me, made it, then pulled the rope and left the draws so I could lead it a few more times and let my belayer lead it, would that be hogging? These guys were doing that, but on like 3 diffrent climbs and going back and forth and not letting any one alse on.

The norm is to lead it then have one or two others go up and the last one cleans.
Anything else is hogging the route.

Big difference between west coast climbers and east coast climbers:
most east coast climbers actually have jobs.

But we're lucky to have this forum to keep the day interesting.
