Man, you've gotta get up there again John so you remember how cool those routes are.

That place has to be the best winter wall in the Red. The sun starts on the far side of the wall and follows it down all the way to the corner where Close Encounters is. We had sun the whole day on Saturday. It was freakin' gorgeous. Plus you're all bundled up anyway 'cuz you're doing offwidth!

You ALL should go up there and climb that thing. See how easy and sweet it looks? Ray's just up there chillin and enjoyin the view. It's only 5.8 for Christ sake! I mean if you get tired on the route you can just sit back and take a nap.

I have never been so spanked by a route as I was by that vile thing... grunt, inch, feel core muscles I wasn't sure I had, grunt, inch, flex, push, pull, grunt, inch... Hey, I'm off the ground!!!!
