Another sore heel hollow crag - the Shady Grove:
Follow the trail from the main sore heal parking area for about 10 minutes, when it opens up, look for an old logging road to the right. Follow that uphill for a little bit, past one trail to the left (which leads to some other routes that I have no info on), to a very obvious trail. This will take you to the routes. I am not 100% on the names/grades, but here is what I know. This is still a super new area, so watch for loose rock and please respect any fixed gear/ropes. Also, beware of posion ivy.
From the left the routes go: 11b, 10d, 11c, 11+?, 11+?, 11+?, 11+/12-, 12-, and 12c. The first three are super classic, the other are good, with very steep, bouldery starts.
Brought to you by the super hard work of Team Suck, and the RRGCC.

Dude, those routes totally rock. They are so fucking mega. oh my god! Get out the holy pump. It is so bad ass. So long, so steep, so goood! i haven't done a route there that isn't 11d/12a. 80-90 ft. You got to keep moving. There aren't any big shakes, just smallish edges and open handers. Get there soon to take advantage of the true onsiting without a bunch of chalk and still some sand on the holds. Real entertaining onsiting. ITS MEGA!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!! SHADY GROVE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
John's 5.10 wall is really good, too. Awesome warm ups. Just what the masses ordered.
