Hamsco's right. Lots of beginners head out to Dip Wall, Tower Rock, & Wall of Denial. Probably wouldn't hurt to add Muscle Beach, though I don't know how many people new to the gorge head out there.

Cool! Are there any 'bouldering areas' other than Double Helix and the Pearl that would be useful to people hoping to waste their time bouldering in the Red?

Throw friction slab and the boulder field that is on the trail to Minas Tirith. That should satisify the pad people.

There is no boulder field on the trail to Minus Tirith.Unless your talking about the
limestone band of choss.

Ok so I was a little off. Trench town or something like that. I thought it was on the way there. But since I don't do trad (yet) I've never finished nor apparently started the hike to it.
