The CAC needs to be used, and tasks delegated. Put these people to work, and don't have the RRGCC micro manage the projects after it has been delegated.

By entering into this discussion, you all have proven my point beautifully. Everyone here knows SOMETHING, one way or the other, about the Murray Property purchase and the problems we as climbers are having with Charmagne Oil. We may not have all the details worked out, but we know SOMETHING. We all also have one huge thing in common: We all FREQUENT the Red. We call it our HOME climbing area. My beef is with these "outsiders" who only come here once a year or so and think they can go exactly where they please, when I KNOW that information is available in some format, even if by word of mouth at Miguel's. (someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I would find it very hard to believe no one would something, even in passing, about the issue). As for the pictures I posted, I know those goobers climb here at least twice a year and I would be hard pressed to believe that they are totally ignorant to the whole situation. So what is the REAL problem here, ineffective communication, or indifference?

Sprag, there is nothing two-faced about me. I think that I have proven to be a very direct person. I don't have the time nor energy to play games. As for communicating, long before you were on the scene I have always tried to be direct in my responses and over the years of haggling with all the personalities on the boards, I am just plum tired of being nice. As for alienating myself from this pack of people, I could care less. Do you think I find my self worth in this crew of dyusfunctional self center people, hell no. You people attack my post whether I play nice or not. Going forward with "working" for he RRGCC, my focus is the BOD. I am no longer putting on the festivals. ...it's frustrating that we can't share everything but it really sucks that we can't get the support of the community on the whole. Actually that's a wrong statement. We can't seem to get the Local flavor to support their home crag. The ones that travel seem much more appreciative on the whole.

Well, I guess you do have a case of the angry helpdesk worker then. You can't blast everyone for not being the kind of contributor you want them to be and you shouldn't be surprised when folks vent their frustration from dealing with your disgruntled attituded.

I don't think it's fair of you to say all locals don't show support. In fact, I think it's pretty crappy of you to say that. Out of all the folks that help out with crag day events, I'd put money down that they're mostly locals. Think about the locals that help out a lot...you don't think that maybe you just insulted them? Or are you just speaking on a monetary level? I bet 10s of 1000s of dollars were donated by locals. Don't you realize you're insulting some major contributors? I'm in the process of soliciting family members for contributions and your attitude reflecting the unappreciative voice of the coalition makes me wonder why I'm even bothering.

I think you should take a good look at the attitude you put off when dealing with folks. I mean, I stuck up for you for the longest time but you finally crossed the line with me and I don't think I get riled that easily. You may work hard for the good of the Coalition but if no one wants to work with you then, in essence, you're actually limiting the growth of the RRGCC and kicking your own self in the foot.

Thanks for the feedback Artsay. Your are right, my attitude does suck and I really don't feel like reflecting over all the negatives that I read over this website sinces it's birth that have pretty much stoked those fires.

I am an extremely happy person in life, this is the one area that I actually have come to hate. It's time to move on, go ahead and celebrate, let someone else pick up the slack and very best wishes to that person.

It's time to ask you to step down. As a financial contributor, I want my money working as efficiently as possible. Please consider the good of the entire climbing community before answering. We need those who can handle the heat. Look at Clinton and Bush. Both came under great fire, yet both have handled themselves with basic human dignity. (Unless you are one of the partisan crowd who chooses to mimize one while elevating the other.)
