you guys never quit..
Spragwa had a valid question but to even suggest that the RRGCC is keeping the MP closed to keep it for themselves it a slap in the face to the RRGCC.
If there are a 'select' few out there doing trail and parking lot work, I hope they are bring their gear and getting a few piches in...they sure as hell deserve it.
Just chill and let them do there thing and it'll be open before you know it

It appeared that RRGCC members were climbing on the MP all the while telling everyone else to stay away. No one said or even suggested that they were keeping it closed in order to do this, rhunt. People just want to know what is going on. Now they do.rhunt wrote:you guys never quit..

Hell yeah, they do, but why not recruit more volunteers and get it done faster? If there is some problem which prevents this, explain it. The RRGCC bitches about not having enough help, but then they either don't ask for it or don't accept it. Fuck that.rhunt wrote:If there are a 'select' few out there doing trail and parking lot work, I hope they are bring their gear and getting a few piches in...they sure as hell deserve it.
This is a good thread - Morgain asked a very good question which got the ball rolling for the much needed communication that as Mia pointed, we do not have. How are we supposed to know that people are on the MP working away and what are we supposed to think when RRGCC members/BOD are spotted there with climbing gear?
Rhunt is right - she asked a valid question so fuck anyone who thinks she's trying to stir up a battle. Also, thanks to those, like Wes, who answered her.

why are the "higher ups" like yourself so damn defensive whenever one of your members voices a concern. i'm not being specific to this situation but the whole rrgcc way of doing things.Johnny wrote:Bring it on Spragwa. What is your fucking problem?
you bitch about not having volunteer help yet never put out the information on what needs to be done and where those who want can help. you take people's money yet don't give them any information on what is happening with it.
the rrgcc has got a public image problem that needs to be addressed, and would be if the people in power would just let people know what is going on.
this is an old arguement that has been going on and going on and there doesn't seem to be any response by the coalition other than behind the scenes lectures or fuck you responses...
btw if anyone wants to call me and rant about me voicing my opinions, bring it on...last time i checked this was a free country.
excellent point mia....you are correct. ~ Pigsteak

as for feeling the love, i don't think anyone was talking shit about you or any volunteers. just trying to clarify something.Johnny wrote:Wow. I'm feeling the love. Thanks to all who sit on their asses and take pot shots at volunteer efforts and complain that more is not being done for them.
all those who sit on their asses are not invited to help, or are told that they can't help anymore by shannon stewart smith.
i don't think anyone is complaining for more being done for them.
