#1) buddah wasn't actually fat. he sat under a fig tree w/o food or water for seven weeks to attain enlightenment. the figure everyone associates with gautoma buddha (there were actually many buddha's, siddartha gautoma buddha founded the religion) is actually a chinese figure used to represent the joy found in life.

#2) jesus and his friends drank a lot of wine and embelished on the water-walking thing.

#3) if this person had been serious, i can't believe how some of you acted towards him/her.

#4) buddha would have been a free soloist. not some pussy boulderer.

#1) the body would die without water for 7 weeks, so Buddha lied

#2)you don't know if Jesus and crew "embellished" on the water walking thing. Quit trying to rewrite historical sciptures.

3)acting out towards fellow man is a very natural inclination. Preservation of self is the human condition. get used to it.

i agree on agreeing.

there are a lot of stuff that i don't believe to be true. including the w/o water thing. just saying what is written about gautoma buddha's life.

can someone walk on water, make water to WINE, or perform any miracles listed in any religious scripture.

this explains why there aren't ass loads of saints anymore...commonsense and science.

oh aaron, we need to have a talk...."saint hood" was not necessarily based on perfection or ones ability to do "miracles"....just doing good deeds (or not), giving money to the catholic church, or holding some role of importance in the chruch might all be ways to get your ticket to infamy...in protestant religions, all christians are looked upon as "saints"...that is not a designation just for the "pure of heart" and super ultra religious..anyway, I digress...

can someone walk on water, water to wine or other miracles? I don't know, i wasn't there. To me, the definition of a miracle is something out of the ordinary, supernatural, or something unexplainable. I can't explain those things, and I believe in a dimension beyond my understanding, so I don't really feel the need to "know" how it all works. May I suggest several of Thomas Moore's books in this regard.

Some say birth is a miracle, but since it can be explained by science, does it not fit your definition?

why couldn't Buddha going without water for seven weeks be considered supernatural or something unexplainable?

why do you just assume he lied, were you there?
