Extracting big wedgies

Any tips? Last time I climbed I was wearing my REI short long underwear (like guys boxer briefs). I got one hell of a wedgie while climbing (hanging). Is it bad form to ask your belayer to extract it if he can reach your ass? Can a stick clip be modified for this task?

Maybe carry a pair of tongs with you when you climb. Kind of like the ones you use to cook with. OR, maybe a pair of needlenose pliers? I wouldn't think it impolite to ask your belayer to help you out either, especially if they can reach it with their teeth!

If extracted by the belayer, wedgies should ALWAYS be removed by the use of teeth. It's totally unsafe to remove the brake hand from the rope.
