Come join Patagonia and La Sportiva sponsored climber, Mark Wilford at Phillip Gall's Outdoor & Ski for a night of fun, food and climbing! Mark is one of the United States top alpinist and will be showing his slideshow of his first ascent of Yamandaka. Yamandaka is a 21.000 peak in the Karakoram which untill now, has never been climbed. Patagonia will be giving away prizes and Phillip Gall's will be offering specials on climbing gear as well as providing free pizza and beer! Food and Beverages begin at 8:30PM @ Phillip Gall's Outdoor & Ski, the show will begin at 9:00. If you have any questions call Chad @ 859-266-0469.

In all seriousness Chad thanks for posting the event and tell your bosses (and the gear reps) to bring in more of this kind of stuff to Lexington.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Big thanks to Chad and the whole Phillip Gaul's crew for being good hosts last night! Mark Wilford put on a nice slide show and had some great stories to tell from his 2001 trip. I for one really appreciate a business hosting such an event, free slideshow, food, and beer is all good. I hope they continue to bring in folks to talk about big adventures and show some pretty pictures. The free food, drink, and raffle is a big plus too!
