allah, I read that story about Tori getting sponsored..but does anyone really know the story..like, what, does Sportiva pay her $20,000 as long as she finishes top 5 in 6 comps a year? It seems to me there would need to be somethig in it for the company

So only one person knows of a sponsored climber, and the rest of us just dream of it, or dream of hating those who have it...interesting....

I'm with Ho....if I could be an average climber, and latch onto fulltime climibing with someone else paying for it, I'd do it in a sec...

Word on the street is that evolve dosn't sponser based only on how hard you climb.
They look for people that would be a good representation of the company.

I don't know how involved things would have to be to actualy walk away with cash.
"My friend" :) gets a few free shoes a year and everything else at or near(?) cost.
Also Evlove is hooking up with many other really cool companys like Asana Princten Tech and Blur. From what I've seen they really take care of there climbers.

I've seen no other shoes made as well as Evolve.

I used to love five ten.... then red chili... Evolve shoes fit my foot better and I belive they are higher quality.

Yeah, they are bomb proof, but they are stiff as HELL too. I am looking foward to trying out their aggressive model though.

There all so stupid...... :D
One of these days I will just walk out to some secluded crag in the red and hang my self will my favorite hex and my old climbing rope; and the paper will read "Climber falls and dies using primitive gear." But that's not how I want to be remembered.

Piggy, she isnt sponsored by sportiva, It is boreal, and you need to add another ) to the end of that $20,000. Im dont think it is just boreal that pays her that, she has many different sponsors. But you know Im not going to go into detail about her.
