What places allow for free/cheap camping, little to no driving or need for a car and great summertime climbing.
Basically can you think of a place where someone can arrive without a car and set up camp for awhile and walk to all of the climbing from the campsite or at least get rides to climbing?
oh and have a scene where finding partners wouldnt be difficult.

I was thinking about taking a greyhound or hitchiking but only to that great central location with enough climbing for a month or two.

Miguel's was my suggestion too - last weekend there was a beer in the free box - some lucky dirtbag scored big time on that one!
