Sunday SCIN and I went to Military and saw this climbing couple warming up on Gung Ho with sponsored PETZL draws. The girl had an English accent and seemed pretty dang strong and we heard the guy keep referring to her as "Claire". They were nice and we chatted with them briefly before heading for home.
Claire Murphy is back in Hueco and has sent her fastest project to date. ... After only 2 hours of work spread over a 3-day period, Murphy ticked off Chbalanke V12
It's so inspiring seeing someone that sick strong and it's neat to know the Red attracts those climber types. We may not see them all the time but they're here because the Red rocks.
Does he have a strange bear claw like appendage protruding from his neck? He kep petting it.
I saw them working Stunning the weekend before. They both were very nice. They had their draws on it for two or three days. I think Ray actually took a run on their draws, remember? I think he also said,"no one that has those draws should be working this route". Funny.
Oh yea! That is funny. Apparently she's sponsored for her bouldering because I couldn't find any info on any hard route sends of hers. They were going to get on the Legend when we left and now I'm wishing I stuck around to watch. The endurance was hard for them to get used to but I bet she could knock out those boulder problems on the Legend real easy. V12...shew, that's more than I can comprehend.

I think I saw this girl on Saturday at Military. She told me that she was getting on the Legend, but I didn't notice and English accent. Did she happen to wear a knit hat with a monkey on it?
wow - watched the video - crazy - her and Andrew Gearing should get together and make mutant bouldering babies....it reminded me of watching Andrew climb...
"I enjoyed a Guinness after I got back home from Palm Sunday Mass." - Captain Static
"Listen, you heard what I said. Do you want me to donate or not charlie. Suck it up and procreate." - Andrew
I just saw the video - you're right Artsay, different girl. However I did see Claire - she walked up to military on Saturday. The other girl is from TN as well.
