Thanks for all the info, and sorry for continuing with a junk thread. I will say that my man-hunk (how's that? haha) seems enticed by the comradery (sp???) at the red.

FWIW, we're less worried about rain and more worried about freak snow storms... anyone seen the crazy weather in N. Carolina lately???? The day we're out climbing in tank tops, they're tromping around in 18 inches. Crazy.

Am very happy that Nigel (good ole little beagle) will be well received, and, yes I even promise to bury and pick up his poo. He stays on a leash or he'll run away, so no worries there.

And in regards to the useless part of the thread... (I can't resist)... Sandy captured my feelings right on the mark.

Also meadows: "belle" means beautitful and "beau" means handsome. I quite like that. Interestingly (and admittedly even more off topic) the French distinction between friend and boyfriend/girlfriend is to add the word for "little." I'll say that boyfriend or girlfriend is much better than, "Hi, meet my little friend Bob." haha

We're holding out until just before we leave next week to make a decision about the weather. We plan to roll in on Wed night/Thursday at obscene hours of the morning. I have red hair and he's Australian, so if you see us, do say hi.

Salut!
Jen (yes I majored in French in college ;) )

They both mean beautiful. Beau comes from that word and it is synonymous with handsome. Did you also know that "beau" means "metrosexual." Of course, back in the day they were called dandies.
