Morehead, the New, the Red, Seneca and something out west - maybe City of Rocks.

Looking Glass, Seneca, family trip to Zion with an eye toward bouldering there and Lost Wages. Hope to hit HP 40 as a work trip off shoot. And I swear I will make it to Clack someday soon.

you sure are hitting the warmer areas during the summer.
at the moment im leaning towards rifle during june/july and then yosemite/yosemite in august, due to the offers of rides i have at the moment.

i better get ready to wear knee pads of sticky rubber, chase grades, spray real hard, and chip routes to my exact specs.
oh well, yosemite is in august and i can purify my climbing karma with highball bouldering and run outs on trad.

Vedauvoo, Devil's Tower, Lover's Leap, (maybe) Yosemite, THE RED, and maybe some random stops in the Southeast.

i'll either...
a) work in kentucky and keep climbing at the red
b) move out to colorado or wyoming or nevada and sport climb
c) go on out to yosemite and climb at tuolumne

still haven't decided yet. either way im gonna be in the valley in the fall.

how 'bout everybody else?
uh, yeah. look aaron, if I were a sport climber (I mean all the time, Wes), I would live back east. if you're coming out this way, it should be to mainly trad climb - not to mention that a good chunk of the "sport climbs" out here should really be mixed or all gear. I digress.

as far as your "it's a dry heat" comment goes, my oven is dry too and I don't stick my head in it. you can dehydrate much more quickly in the "dry heat."

so, there are some good sporty areas out here. they certainly aren't destinations in the sense that the good areas are spread-out and none are any better than the Red, the New or even the Obed.
