why can't we get our countries to line up their holidays for the sake of climbing???

It would make life way too easy. I guess it will be fall. Or maybe even summer. Good friend of mine will be coming back from yet another tour of duty in Afghanastan sometime this summer. The tenative plan is a leisurely drive through the mountains of West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York on the way to Watertown, NY. and stopping off places to climb and see green mountains for a change.

naw, don't do that. i work in the u.s. so i get to take the u.s. holidays. but my boss' wife is canadian and he's pretty lenient, so he lets me take off the canadian holidays too. this way, i get 2 holidays in may, 2 in july, and 2 thanksgivings

dude, I have got to say that either your woman is the most insecure bitch on the planet, or you are just making her look that way with all these posts about how other women have to behave around you. It's been my experience that women who don't trust their men have been given a good reason not to. At any rate, something isn't right with one or both of you.
