See, these last two ways of ranking climbers are based more on WHO the climber is, NOT how hard or how much experience he or she has. Ive met people who climbs really hard and dont really climb hard at all as well as people who have tons of experience to those with almost none, and i never once took in to consideration any of these factors in what i think about them. i rank climbers by the people they are and i guess i rank em like legion...

-the people who are cool people and i want to climb with
-the people who are just big douche bags and i dont want to associate with
The south will rise again!

it seems that even though more people have chosen experience it is really based on personal expeience.

All I am getting at is that you should respect someone who has been climbing longer than you even if you do pull down harder than they do. And if you just did your first 12d than that doesn't mean that you get to sit in wes' chair and diss all the more experienced climbers that fought their way up a 11b the same day.
One of these days I will just walk out to some secluded crag in the red and hang my self will my favorite hex and my old climbing rope; and the paper will read "Climber falls and dies using primitive gear." But that's not how I want to be remembered.

Respect is earned, regardless of what area you are talking about. A person can climb 15 years to my 1 and if he/she are dumbshits who do stupid things every time they rope up or say stupid things every time they open their mouths then they have not earned my respect.
