Yeah, I've met a lot of climbers from all over the country, and everyone of them would never think of stealing from another climber... theres something about climbers helping other climbers...lost gear is usually found and returned by the individuals who found it
Miguels has always been a great place and never really had theft problems before (although the red has) but i think its really messed up that someone would try to steal from tents at miguels and then tell miguel that they found it in the forest. Theres something wrong with the climbers who tried this... they got some weird shit goin on in their heads.Despite this incident, i will always see climbers as good trustworthy people and wont start to take precautions to protect my gear, especially at miguels!
