I paid for the convenience. And if you talked to him, then you are in compliance with his wishes.

Your reputation was self-made. It's obvious to everyone but you apparently.

i guess so. maybe we are all just worthless pieces of shit that shouldn't speak unless spoken to. we can't be believed on anything we say. we are horrible people that shouldn't be associated with...

luckily we don't associate with you because we are climbers and you aren't.

Chester, I hate saying this to you, but fuck you. Perhaps you have no idea the havoc these punks have intentionally caused on this BBS. You definitely don't understand the amount of crap we've had to do behind the scenes to keep up with it. I asked a reasonable question when Aaron posted this, since his post made absolutely no sense.

The situation is being dealt with - I spoke to Joe who was at Miguels last night - they are handling it. It was unfortunate and the details are a little confusing. Basically the people who did it seemed to get caught in the middle of it all and lost their nerve - seems like they ditched the small stuff (the harness and shoes) because they came across Joe's trad rack - all of Joe's gear and stuff was there at that point in time because he was actually REMOVING his tent from Miguels, which did have previous permission to leave up over the winter, because yes, he and aaron and matt spend more time there than in Richmond.

Thankfully the rack was recovered as whoever was doing this left it and Joe's trad shoes tucked away in the monestary and they were recovered. Joe doesn't leave stuff like that just laying around -

But it is being taken care of - for the most part I know that anyone I have met from the board would never take another climbers gear - the rack was definitely not just lying around and it seems it was actively taken from Joe's personal property.

Matt and aaron - thanks for keeping the Canadians gear "safe" for them - even though it got looted, it was a nice gesture and thanks for helping me out yesterday with the info on what was going on so I could pass it on to Joe and Miguel.

no prob. glad the problem got dealt with.

we wrote a note in our tent window telling thieves not to steal from the tents and that we were angry local rednecks, so there shouldn't be anymore problems.

you're right about the more time there than here now that i think about it! :D
