Ouch

Post by Artsay »

For the last two weeks I've been battling a toothache. So this afternoon I bit into something and my tooth exploded with pain. Like anything that hurts, I wanted to look at it so I went into the bathroom, stuck my face in the mirror, and started poking and proding at my tooth. All of a sudden I heard SCIN say, "What the hell is THAT?!" as I looked at my tooth and saw something emerging from my gumline. After a few seconds of *surgury* I pulled this thing out of my gumline that, after inspection, revealed itself to be an obvious shell from a corn kernal. I just stood there looking at it in amazement as SCIN said, "Oh yea...I get those all the time."

What the hell? Has anybody else had something like this happen to them?

Thats a funny smiley Jeff.

You mean like a popcorn kernel? That stuff happens to folks all the time. I was at the dentist once and the girl cleaning my teeth poped one out. I had eaten popcorn the night before, and of course brushed twice since then. I started to defend my dental hygine when she told me that those kernels can stick around for a while. She said she has seen people with kernels stuck in their mouths for weeks at a time. I try and floss after eating popcorn these days.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

I had a firend in high school who went to the dentist complaining of a tooth ache and they removed a pubic hair! a corn kernal is nothing to get embarrased about eh?

Artsay, I hate to say the obvious, but is SCIN's wanker covered in something he calls a "husk"?

Geeze Johnny...that's the silliest thing I've ever heard! And for your information there's nothing corny about SCIN's "Cookie Monster" either!

Some people...

 I can't even begin to tell you what I've scraped out of some people's teeth and you probably wouldn't really want to know! A week old popcorn husk that's black is nothing, however, it can be damn painful!

Let's not talk about teeth!!! Mine absolutely suck! Just thinking about it means I have a root canal in my future!

speaking of teeth. Steve Faulkner , Chuck keller and i were climbing together and chuck said he had this bad tooth bothering him. we went to miguels that night and before we ate Chuck pulled his tooth out with a pair of channelocks from his tool box. then light up a cigarette and said lets eat.
